Notice of Cessation of Business Operations and Insolvency

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your continued support and patronage of HEMP SEED JAPAN Inc.

We hereby inform you that, due to the difficulty of continuing our business, we have terminated all of our sales and business activities as of October 30, 2025.

 

Our company has been striving for the sound dissemination of HEMP SEED and the development of the related industry in Japan. After approximately fourteen years of repeated discussions and negotiations with the national government and relevant authorities, we finally obtained approval to import HEMP SEED.
All of our employees were sincerely looking forward to introducing a wide range of varieties developed and registered overseas to customers in Japan and thereby helping to open up new industrial possibilities.

 

However, an unforeseen situation arose in which the seeds that we had been preparing did not arrive in Japan, and we were consequently unable to deliver the products to our customers as initially planned.
As a result, we caused significant inconvenience and concern to our customers, for which we offer our deepest apologies.

 

We made every possible effort to resolve the situation and explore alternative measures; however, in the absence of any prospects for re-importing the seeds, our cash flow deteriorated and we also lost the trust of the relevant authorities, resulting in a situation in which it became impossible for us to continue our business.
It is with the utmost regret that, for the reasons described above, we were left with no option but to decide to discontinue our business operations.

To all of our customers, business partners, and related organizations who have supported us over many years, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support and patronage. At the same time, we offer our most sincere apologies for having been unable to meet your expectations and for the considerable inconvenience caused by this situation.
